From 2005 till 2012, Professor Henri Samier was Director of the ISTIA Innovation, Department of the French University of Angers with a team of 10 employees and 150 students.

He developed international cooperation with Brussels University, Oulu University (Finland) and with IFTIC SUP of Yaounde (Cameroon). Henri Samier is a lecturer and researcher at the University of Angers, with a passion for research, sharing and transferring his knowledge in the field of competitive intelligence. He participates in conferences related to competitive intelligence on the internet, innovation and more specifically, the relationship between competitive intelligence and innovation, research methods, web-creativity, technological innovation, management of innovative projects, disruptive innovation, methods and technology watch.

He works on the detection of weak signals and influencers, e-reputation; Henri Samier participated in writing a tenth of books on competitive intelligence on the Internet and has produced more than 30 scientific publications he delivered in various international conferences or symposia. As he had the opportunity to work with Marc-Henri Menard starting from the 2000’s, he is now associated to the BT2i® missions, training sessions, intra-company seminars on "Intelligence & Innovation” through BT2i Academy™.
